This is a tribute page to Dave CJ a.k.a. "tiny pest"
I hope you will find this page to pay Dave the greatest amount of respect. I have included links to almost Dave's entire favorites folder. I left out the x-files (xxx) due to the fact kids need not have such easy access, nor did I think it was in good taste.

I would like to thank all of those who have sent e-mail with such kind words. Dave really did care so much for his on line friends. For those who didn't know Dave was sick for a really long time. It was in the chat rooms and virtual chat were Dave could again be himself and I truly believe that this gave him the strength to carry on for as long as he did.

I would like to apologize for how long it has taken me to get this site up but there has been so much I wanted to do with this and so many links of Dave's that it really has been a lot of work.

What a sad day on worlds...we will miss the guy with the little name but the big heart! I just want you to know that I have just finished talking to his wife and his soon to be son-in-law Kevin. Kevin is a web page designer and if you go to www.akaawol.com you can see his page and a few words about setting up a tribute/memorial page. Kevin said the family would rather you donate any monies that you wanted to spend on cards or flowers to your favorite Cancer Charity or to the National Institute of Cancer...he indicated he would provide the addresses. He also said that there would be a Book for all to sign on the web page he will develop and asked if you have any ideas or input on that web page to contact him. He will include a place to link any TinyPest Tribute/Memorial pages to his page. Remember the family just lost him 24 hours ago and they are still working out the details. I would like your input on a memorial service for him...place..date...time that is convienient to both the UK and the USA....please email me at cmay@worlds.com. He was a friend to many on worlds...and despite his pain and suffering .. most never knew the seriousness of his illness. We will miss that little guy scooting around....I want to thank each of you for your thoughts and you kindness to him...it really relieved his pain and even for brief moments took his mind away from the enevitable... We will all miss him.....

Sad to see the little one go, small in stature, big in heart. Ive listend to his Sax playing and know he missed it so much, maybe now he can play all day. He was very good. anyway he will be missed, take care wherever you are, and keep playing

It's a sad day when any Community loses someone under these circumstances.
I recall navigating around his little av which made me smile and we would sometimes laugh about it.
May his memory leave the smiles that he brought. I think he would have liked that.

Thank you Maryjane for publishing the commemorative page for Tinypest and also for placing on it one of my very favorite poems 'Do Not Stand At My Grave and Weep'. Once a year I put this poem on my website with a picture of Anna Mae Aquash (a native American activist who did under very suspicious circumstances) on her birthday.
I have been wondering of late where Tinypest had got to. It is very sad to learn that this is the reason why. My heart goes out to his family and friends. The pain of loss and mourning is inconsolable. I hope for all the love people have felt for this person sustains him through the bardo states and of death and brings him to a fortunate rebirth.

No words can express how we are all feeling right now. Sometimes we can take things for granted and that friends will always be there. I needed to put some words down to try and make up for not giving that last 'hug' today, or in my case the last fortnight. This is dedicated to Tinypest a dear friend to all I believe this is from all of us.....

Over the last few months my world online has revolved around this funny little guy who did his very best to trip me up in worlds. We have laughed together, we have also cried together. I built a world and we shared that together, drinks in the bar dancing in the disco being in the garden listening to the birdsong. But most of all growing closer by the day, We didn't know how long he had left but we did talk. For a little guy he took a huge place in my heart. I am so happy that there are so many lovely messages here and you probably won't believe how long it took me to write this, but I know he would have wanted me to respond. To all his many friends in Worlds I thank you for the care and friendship you gave to him it meant so very much to him and he had some very happy times being amongst you all.

I didn't know Tinypest that well but he always had time to say hello and he spread many smiles. They are precious and selfless. When any member of a Community is taken like this, the whole Community feels the loss and that is obvious by the tremendous feeling in these messages and memories. I wish all those close to him healing, peace and memories of the smiles that he brought and will continue to bring.

I didn't know tinypest well. But spoke to him a little. So sad to hear when a fellow friend leaves us without living there life to the full. I just hope the joy that he give to us all, will be remembered always & make people think how lucky they are to be here.My deepest sympathy for his family. Hope theres something somewhere upthere to give him back the love & joy he give to others.

I too sit in tears, having heard the sad news. Tiny was one of the first people I met on worlds and we became great friends. I am so glad that the last time we met up on worlds he was in great form, shuffling from member's feet to member's feet, having a laugh and joke and it is that memory I will carry with me - not the bad times and all the pain, suffering and despair that he went thru. Rest in peace my friend and know that my love goes with you. xxx

im sitting in great shock i have just recieved a shocking email at first i thought NO this cant be true but then it sunk in my dearest friend tinypest has passed on :O( he will be a great loss to all that knew him like i did over the past 8 months i have made a very true and loyal friend.My worlds chat room will now be so empty i will gaze at my friends list

I only met Tinypest a couple of weeks ago, and it was a pleasure to talk to such a lovely person. Worlds will indeed be a sadder place without him. My thoughts go out to his family and all those that loved him. Rest in peace Tinypest I and Lady Jo have just received the news that tinypest has passed away. I will always have very fond memories of Tinypest. He was always cheerful and great company, he would make me laugh so much. Through all his suffering he never once complained. In fact I did not know he was ill until ages after I met him and that was through a friend. My deepest thoughts go out to his family **Hugs** to my dear friend you shall be sadly missed

I never knew tinypest, but often saw him around on worlds. To know that he had such good friends such as you lot must have really eased the pain for him in his final days. One could not ask for a more tender tribute than the last few posts on this board. Doesnt it make all the bad comments over the last few weeks pale into insignificance. In times of hurt, through all the heartache, a softer heart does human kindness make.

I only spoke to this delightfully charming little chap a few times but upon reading these tributes and messages; can only now begin to understand and appreciate just how many people's lives this man enriched. I agree with you Gio and Jo and shall do my shift in black tomorrow.I still cant find the words to describe how shocked I am by this sad news this morning. Tiny was a wonderful person and those who were lucky enough to know him deem his friendship as their good fortune. Tiny made his mark and shall be greatly missed. I feel as if a part of Worlds has gone with our dear friend. I shall never forget you Tiny.
